ABOUT
Roger was born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, raised in a small village in Bayfield County and graduated from Northland College in Ashland, WI with a BS in Biology. He married his wife Elizabeth, (BKA Betty) in 1970 while serving in the US Army in New York City. They raised two children who live nearby and have four awesome grandchildren. They currently live in Appleton, WI.
Roger’s entire career involved sales and marketing along with starting three companies, selling two and closing the third to accept a sales management position with a customer engagement enterprise.
After the COVID 19 Pandemic forced him to work at home he found the time to get serious about writing. He had previously written several articles for an outdoor sports magazine which focused on human interest stories verses “how to” articles. He had also written several short stories over the past twenty years.
His first book, Tatum’s Alibi was self-published on Amazon in 2021 as a novella but has since been pulled and re-written to be published again in Fall 2024 with a hybrid publisher.
Never Doubt Nadine is his first full novel and launched early Fall 2023.
Emma’s Demise is the third murder/romance novel in The Columbia County Murder Mysteries series was published by Little Creek Press on March 3, 2026. The fourth book in the series is planned for release in the near future.
